Tupolev

Tupolev is a Russian aerospace and defence company, headquartered in Moscow. Officially known as Public Stock Company Tupolev, it is the successor of the famed Tupolev Design Bureau headed by the renowned Soviet aerospace engineer A.N. Tupolev.

The company celebrated its 85th anniversary on October 22, 2007. The Russian government is planning to merge Tupolev with Mikoyan, Ilyushin, Irkut, Sukhoi, and Yakovlev as a new company named United Aircraft Corporation.
