New York Ships

These postcards were produced by Audio-Visual Designs of Earlton, New York. A company that is very well known for producing a lot of really great railroad postcards, since the 1960s.

The ocean liner "France" docking in New York City - 1963.

The luxury liner "Queen Elizabeth" leaves the New York Harbor for the last time in October 1968. The largest ocean liner the world has ever seen steamed almost 3 1/2 million miles in its thirty year active life.

The "Queen Mary" docked in New York City in 1963. After many crossings of the Atlantic between England and New York, the 81,237 ton vessel was purchased by the City of Long Beach in 1967.
